The hate boner you have for Ottawa is impressive. Lets talk about Galchenyuk, or Scherbak, or McCarron, or Leblanc, or White, or Juulson, or Mete, or Kotkaniemi, or Poehling, or Tinordi, or Fischer. Quite impressive how often the team you cheer for misses on their HIGH selections. You’re in no position to talk to someone about drsft busts. Ya’ll gonna destroy Caufield’s promise too. Or maybe he’ll just get offersheeted.
Well its not you said everyone.
If I tell you that Ottawa is last in the Eastern Conference and has the 2nd worst record in the league, you're going to tell me I'm hateful when it's just a fact.
I've said before that I think Ottawa would have made much better choices by selecting Heinola, Drysdale and Sillinger over Thomson, Sanderson and Boucher and that management was doing poorly. That's all.
I have already said that I find that Montreal is drafting badly as well and that the team is heading in the wrong direction.
You just have the reaction of a stupid supporter. If I was hateful, I would have many other teams to hate than Ottawa. Carolina to start. And yet I find that this team drafte very well and is excellently well managed.
Sanderson is a better fit for us we have offensive D-men also we lacked size on the blue line as well, all Sanderson has to do is be a steady 2nd pairing D-men. Drysdale would be too similar what we currently have in terms of style and size. I agree with you that Boucher at least for now isn't inspiring more confidence and I would have preferred a more skilled players as we need more skill.
Thompson didn't inspire much but I think he's grown a bit. Hate that he made his NHL Debut in such a circumstance as I would have projected him to make his NHL Debut next year.
Just a notice.
Senators was forced to call Thomson up thanks for covid19 ( 8 NHL regulars in covid19 protocol ).
And why you would have wanted to wait next year because even you can't know
that is Covid19 a issue or not in next year also.

I take a risk averse approach to prospect development and would have liked for him to complete a full season in the AHL. Im aware of covid.
Do the games that Thomson is called up for due to COVID reasons count toward the 9 games he can play in the NHL before his ELC kicks in or is there some special conditions given due to the circumstances?

That's all. You insistently need to tell people that you know better. That's all. In every Ottawa thread. That's all. That's obviously not all becuase you repeat it over and over as if you've been proven right even though these are prospects from the previous three drafts. Thats all.
You obsess over me.
I was challenged on this thread by GermanSpitFire which alluded to me.
I answer by being very polite.
This is a draft site here. If it is necessary to be silent so as not to upset the fans, there will be no open discussion.
Thats all.
I don't follow you. I follow threads of Senator prospects. You just continue to show up in them, spouting the same non-sense of every other thread.

So you've said it before, duly noted. Now quit beaking off and let time play out to see if you're right. You emerge on every Sens prospect thread in order to predict the future for us, over and over and over and over.... Just give it up and come back in 2-3 years.
For now feel free to pat yourself on the back if you anticipated Logan Brown and Colin White as busts. Your blimp sized ego should be focused on players drafted 5 years ago if you're going to lip off like you're some kind of authority. But right now you sound stupid talking with so much certainty about guys that are still young, developing prospects.
You can always tell a useless amateur scout by how they draw conclusions long before a prospect has had his shot. You're that useless amateur scout that no one should be listening to.

Sanderson is very very good
Not say the opposite. It's just that I prefer Drysdale and prefer the Heinola-Drysdale combo to Sanderson-Thomson

Both are good
just had issue with ppl saying sanderson is the wrong pick when he is clearly very good
he was a good choice but not the better
