Signed through next season according to EliteProspects but I’m 99.9% sure he has a North American out-clause both for the WHL, where he could still go at some point this season, and the NHL/AHL once he’s drafted. What's his contract situation like?

He's either the first or 2nd defenseman off the board and he will go in the top 10.
Very good game from Jiricek, despite being -2 and not scoring, he was extremely active at both ends of the rink in every period.
Some of his plays (mostly O-zone)
Nice assist tonight while being tripped down,
He has definitely their upside at least offensively. Reminds me of Makar somehow. What NHL player you can compare with David Jiricek?
He can have the same impact of Makar, Heiskanen, Dahlin, Fox?
He's definitely not such an equilibrist on skates like Makar. But for his great figure certainly a very mobile, physical defender with good offensive abilities. Maybe Seider is a good comparison. What NHL player you can compare with David Jiricek?

But Seider is in tier of his own, he is better than Makar, Heiskanen and Fox and he is 2-3 years youger...He's definitely not such an equilibrist on skates like Makar. Stylistically, the way he moves around the ice, i'd say a young Aaron Ekblad. His offensive potential is as good as anybody's, defensively he still has a lot to work on.What NHL player you can compare with David Jiricek?

Now i think about it, a prime Brent Burns is a great example of what you could potentially get with Jiricek, imo.Stylistically, the way he moves around the ice, i'd say a young Aaron Ekblad. His offensive potential is as good as anybody's, defensively he still has a lot to work on.
