Right handed tj Brodie would be a fantastic result . Main difference being Dandord apparently can be physical. But right handed defensive d that can skate / transport puck are at a premium

He is a very sturdy defenseman and always finds himself in the right spot. Chris Tanev is a pretty solid comparable.

I had Danford ranked somewhere from 35-60 and the sharks needed defensemen with our later picks.

A right handed Brodie that actually has size and uses it would be a dream scenario of this pick. Sign me up. Brodie was a fantastic dman for us for most of the time he was here

As others have said, drafting a Brodie quality dman and having him for his prime is pretty solid for a late 1st.

If this guy ends up as good as Brodie he would go top 15 or higher in a redraft lol. Brodie was a legit #2/3 for years.
