... What doesn't make sense is doing it against Naomi, whose work has looked far from polished since she returned to WWE.

Unless she made significant strides since being off, Jade probably still needs somebody to carry her.

Nah I get the angle... It's that Naomi ain't the one to carry Jade in a match and make her look good haha.

I'm not completely convinced it will be on the WM card.

WM is more about the spectacle than anything because of the amount of casuals that buy tickets and watch it on TV. I think EC in Toronto had more casuals than normal in attendance too since they haven't had a stadium event in almost a quarter century... and when Jade's music hit, and she came out, there wasn't the kind of pop she usually gets, the crowd didn't really get louder until she attacked Naomi.

If I were booking the WM weekend, I'd have that match on the go home episode of Smackdown... I considered the idea of the pre-show where the diehards would already be there to watch, but I think Allegiant Stadium's roof would make Jade's entrance far less impressive since it's translucent and allows in natural light.

The crowd reactions in Toronto sounded pretty dull for most stuff. This seems to be a common criticism for baseball stadium shows, which tells me baseball venues are probably so damn big that the crowd volume doesn't project as well.

Even Cena's turn seemed relatively muted outside the initial shock of his expression changing and Rock cutting his throat.

Good, we don't need an immediately explanation. Plus, it will give Cena a chance to change his look before his next appearance with the company.

Overall, the whole presentation of Cena needs to change. From his theme to his wardrobe. I know of a lot of people think Cena might be turning back in the Doctor of Thuganomics character but, imo, that would be a mistake. I think Cena should be more like The Rock, vengeful, angry and elitist. Play up the Hollywood attitude.

Then I would put a faction together (bought and paid for by The Rock, of course) to be the group represent Rock/Cena will they do "Hollywood things". To me to get the most heelish heat, I would go Kevin Owens, DIY and Austin Theory and take up the name of 4 Horsemen. The heat they would get would be off-the-charts.
