I think the best case scenario for the deadline is Beauvillier, Grzelcyk, Rakell and Acciari out, and even that seems pretty optimistic. They only have so many guys they can call up from WBS.
I'd be shooting for something like:
-Rakell to LA for Moore and a 2026 1st
-Beauvillier to Colorado for a 2025 4th
-Grzelcyk to Tampa for a 2026 3rd
-Acciari and a 2025 4th to Florida for Vilmanis
Once Bunting is healthy, finish the year with:
Moore-Crosby-Rust
Bunting-Malkin-Bemstrom
Heinen-Hayes-Tomasino
Lizotte-Ponomarev-Glass
Imama-Nieto
Shea-Letang
Kotya-Karlsson
Graves-Desharnais
POJ
Until Bunting is healthy, I'd probably call up Puustinen to replace Beauvillier. I also wouldn't mind browsing the trade market to see if another Tomasino type of player could become available for a 3rd or 4th and jump on that. They definitely have the NHL roster spots to give out those kind of opportunities, notably at RW and LD.
Vilmanis isn't anything special as a prospect, I just wanted to find a young AHLer that could allow the Penguins to call up their better young AHLers without worrying about AHL roster rules. Sourdif was the original guy that caught my eye but I don't think there's a chance that a team moves a prospect on par with Sourdif for Acciari. And I don't mean that in a way that Sourdif is some sort of special prospect
