Damage CTRL and KO were drafted before CM Punk... LWO was drafted before Drew McIntyre.

Please... Please do not format the draft like this ever again. You should've let it die with Vince's legacy. This makes zero sense. Nobody with half a brain would ever pick like this.

In a conceptualized draft concept, there would be legitimate concerns around CM Punk not only being older, but clearly more injury prone.

But the draft is something that comes along when it does, and it forgotten about almost as soon as it's over.

In 2023, night 1, the Street Profits were a 2nd round pick, over Imperium (includes Walter), Drew McIntyre, and the OC was drafted ahead of Damage CTRL.

Night 2, Austin Theory was the 1st overall pick for Smackdown, ahead of Seth Rollins (who was about to be champion), the Usos (had just main evented Wrestlemania Night 1), and Ronda Rousey (who was in a tag team with Shayna in round 4).

Cody is over in France. As are KO and Randy.

The Role Model is over in France too! Starting with the 8 woman tag match.

That felt like a classic NXT tag match. The faces come out looking like a million bucks but in the end, the heesl win.

So Heyman pulled Roman Reigns out of the draft.

Wow, even Paul Heyman was surprised by the crowd reaction.

"We want Roman"

It’s no surprise that a European crowd would eat everything up, it’s an injustice they haven’t had more TV events
