If the WWE draft was real then Nick Aldis would have to be fired for taking Bel Air first overall right?

The only pick in that situation is AJ Styles. How could you risk letting your title go to the other brand?

Did they state that that could happen? They would just leave the champion on Smackdown.

They only said the current champions are protected, not the titles themselves.

If Raw picked Styles and he theoretically won the title at Backlash he'd be bringing it with him to Raw presumably.

Even if that's not the case, taking a midcard woman's wrestler is a fool's game. You've got your choice of so much men's and women's main event talent and you do that.

Talk about shit that should've died with Vince's legacy... The draft.

1. Logically, why is Carmelo Hayes getting picked ahead of Orton or LA Knight?

2. Why are we doing a "Logical" draft where pretty much everybody stays on their own brands? Just do the randomized bullshit you did 10-15 years ago.

3. Why did we spend weeks of Aldis and Pearce trying to woo guys like Punk/Jade/Bron, only so they can get drafted to the other brand a couple months later?

Yes I much prefer the "random lottery" roster shake up they did a few times in the mid 2000s, rather than a whole redraft that doesn't make sense.
