Carolina has all that cap space though why not sign Rant for 15 million. a year? Surely, even if he has a poor playoffs he will put up 50 goals and 110 points yearly during the contract, his zone entry numbers ar what made MacKinnon

We could follow total points combined of Necas+Drury vs Rantanen. That would be a more fair comparison as these players are on very different playing fields in terms of skill and ability.
