I couldn't have said it any better myself. It's a very weird idea, that you see only happen when the strongest aspect of their game doesn't work and they need to adapt to hang around in the show. My god though he looks really freaking solid out there.

Even if we gave up a lot of quality chances in our own end. When the result is what it is, you cant possibly say that it wasnt exciting, or a great game to watch.

Personal attacks aren't my thing (actually they so ARE my thing, just not on the internet). All we were doing was pointing out some things you said that in retrospect, seem fairly silly. It happens....

Not to mention LA STOMPED on the Red-Hot Blues last night 4-1, which shows what a quality team detroit actually is... Detroit played a tight game, that was not a **** team combined with the Rangers "lack" of scoring ability. Howard stopped about 8-12 prime scoring chances, as well as several 2 and 3 shot rebound attempts. In all honesty, 48 shots on goal, and I would deem, at most, 8 of those shots as low-quality shots.
The rest was outstanding:
- Shots from the point
- shots from the high slot
- tic-tac-toe across the low slot
- grinding out in the corners
- winning the board battles
- Solid Checking
- Heart and emotion finally showing
- Several players playing with a physical and Mental Edge

AGrred, DeKeyser was very noticable. THe wings are a solid team. I wouldn't be surprised to see them start to bounce some crappy teams like MTL and TOR out of the playoff race soon enough
In retrospect because of 5 good games? His numbers are still pretty mediocre.

Listen, we're not all fans with rose-colored worship Lundqvist glasses, he's been weak this season, even though he's playing better as of late, that doesn't erase his putrid start to the year, and snowblind has a right to post his opinions, as do the rest of us, so stop with the personal attacks, we are all rangers fans and every one has something to contribute we are all Ranger fans in the end.
