Post-Game Talk: Rangers-Wings

Hank great...But I can't get too excited about beating a Red Wings team missing most of their team 1-0. Yes we got 48 shots, but we gave up way to many high quality scoring chances. I remember how Joe mentioned as Detroit started their first power play how the Red Wings were lucky to get a shot a PP in the last 5-6 games, then all of a sudden they are peppering shot and good quality shot at us, if not for Hank we are down 1-0 on that PP. This D has major problems, way to many good scoring chances against every game.

Except lately they haven't been giving up that many chances. I think the more wide open style is conducive to giving up more chances. If Hank were the Hank of last year it wouldn't matter nearly as much.
 
Speaking of Joe, is it just me who thinks he's been much better this season? Sam, too. I don't find myself saying talk about the game at all anymore.

What the **** are you talking about dude? The guy called me out and said basically that I have "****ed up head" or something (post got deleted), I responded by showing him that earlier in this thread I wrote "thanks Hank" and that I give him props when he deserves them like last night. Maybe you shouldn't comment if you don't know the context. (Actually considering I reposted that post you should know better).
 
One of the better live games I've been to. Great saves by both Goalies. I benched Howard in my fantasy league because I didn't want to worry that while watching the game live. Bad mistake as he played great and faced nearly 50 shots.

McDonagh shows a lot of offense potential.
 
Fact of the matter is it's one more GDT where you're arguing with people about Hank, and I'm obviously not the only one who's sick of it. I'd put you on ignore but I like what you have to say about everything except Hank. You're right though, that guy baiting you is really the one to blame in this instance.

Yea. What a bizarre career stralman has had.

Was brought in as a PP guy and an offensive type player who struggles defensively . And he turns into a defensive stud who has little to no offensive ability.

Exactly, considering that I got a "is Lundqvist no longer elite" post and "that guy" (how he referred to me) basically said I'm ****ed in the head, I'm not the one that needs to chill.
 
Why is everyone so upset about the fact that we only scored one goal? I really don't think it was our "lack of finish" tonight as Howard was unbelievable. We just went on a tear scoring three or more goals in I think something like five straight games, now we ran into two goalies playing out of their mind two games in a row. I mean, we came at Howard with chances from everywhere and the only thing I can think of that wasn't him shutting us down was that play by Callahan, and even there I have a hard time being upset because Zetterberg gave him two hard slashes straight to the hands and a hook while Callahan was cutting across the crease. THis very Red Wings team just recently lost another game 1-0 recently because of Howard's brilliance. Do the first lace Ducks have no finish too?

There was an incident in a recent game. I dont know if anyone heard it an I can't quite recall which game but it recent, and Dave was part of the broadcast between the benches.

They were talking about something off topic, and Sam asked Joe a question and Joe said straight up that he doesn't care and isn't concerned about it (seemed legit annoyed) then he made a joke to Dave about staying on topic.

Since that game, I haven't heard Sam try to go off topic as much.

You're right but many here seem to think that the Rangers exist in a vacuum where they play against themselves and no other team is present.
