Drury is as tight lipped as they come. I don't believe for a second that someone in the Rangers org shared this info with him. See Vatrano, Frank. Not one pundit had it on their radar.

Think the Rangers might find other teams have different definitions of “young elite talent”

And what elite talent do they gave to offer that NYR would be interested in?
Don't know. Don't care. Neither are my team. Considering the posts we were seeing earlier in the season by their fans, they seemed all kinds of interested. Which was entertaining.

Hmm interesting this might make some sense to move Bertuzzi to NYR and have Laf as part of the package coming back to Detroit.

Chychrun.

Laf has nice chemistry with Hayton and coach Tourigny.

That's one name that meets the criteria that makes some semblance of sense to me....

I mean, personally if I'm NY, I'd keep the package of futures and cross my fingers. They have talent at left side D, just let it mature

But certainly they could make a competitive offer for Chychryn

Who is dealing elite, young talent with team control for Laf?
All I can think of is a team with talented RFA they have doubts will want to commit long term, doesn’t have to have term already but an RFA when his deal ends
