It's really too bad it has to end like this. I have been harder on him than most and but the guy gave it all to this franchise. I can't cry too much for him, the Rangers have made him a wealthy man. But he's still human.

Yeah, I don't really feel sorry for Zucc. I love the guy, but he should've stayed in Dallas if he really wanted to win. Seemed like a great fit for him there.

Exactly, that's what it's all about, plus that 5th year.
He actually got a similar offer from Florida. But Zuccarello wanted to go to Minnesota because he's a Norwegian, he loves the cold winter and the large community of fellow countrymen there, also because MN is a hockey state. He doesn't connect these sunshine states with hockey, one of the reasons he didn't want to stay in Dallas.
Neither do I but I just don't see the point in wishing him Ill will or that he deserves to be apart of a team's misfortunes just because he signed with said team.
It's silliness..
I'd rather be in MN over Dallas myself.
Wish he could've stayed in NY.
He could've been the ultimate C but it is what it is..

Just saw the starting lineup Minn is putting out there. Zucc? Who is Zucc? They got their 1st line of Bill Goldsworthy, Lou Nanne and JP Parise going.
And their 2nd line aint shabby either with Neal Broten flanked by Dino Cicicerelli and Brian Bellows.
Oh and watch for Willie Plett...he's been gooning it up bigtime lately. Maybe he and Lemieux will get into a nice scrap!.
