they will probably win this one, but absent a magic button that makes them lose the next 10 straight, can we put a lid on passive aggressive bitching when they actually succeed at the profession they're paid hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars for? that'd be aces.

If you look up "bad hockey player" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Vinni Lettieri.

I mean, Pionk blows too but at least he's spectacularly ineffective. Lettieri is just a silent fart.
 
Anyone notice Joe called him "Hank" and then quickly corrected himself and said "Henrik Lundqvist" when they were showing that save replay? Wish they'd be okay with being a bit more personal at this point in Hank's career, almost felt like Joe was embarrassed he called him Hank by accident lol.
 
Is it my imagination or does it seem to you guys that everytime the Rangers call up a player, they get a penalty their 1st game up.

I don't even think it'd be weird if he called him The King. That's his nickname.

Now if he called him "The Lundster," that would be weird.

Lettieri went penalty free in his first game. Even scored a goal.
 
As someone who's been at work or drunk during most of our games this season, why is the general consensus that Pionk suddenly sucks?
 
nothing low-key annoys me more than a ref faking out a player on a faceoff and then tossing him. f*** off with that

Good read and effort by Lemieux and ADA to jump up on the rush together when they both had a leg on Lashoff

has become bad at practically everything. doesnt skate the puck out anymore unless there is zero pressure. doesn't make outlet passes anymore, just clangs it off the boards for unforced icings like he's 1999 Rich Pilon.
