The Rangers simply cannot trade Chris Kreider.

I think it's rather simple. 1 organization contacts the Rangers and offers up a deal. NYR then negotiate and either agree to a deal, or reject the deal.

But seriously, It really depends what Kreider is looking for on his contract. If it's 7x7, I don't feel comfortable with our team to give him that right now. And while he's been great for about 20+ games or so, his play year after year concerns me to hand him that contract. The last thing we should do is overreact on a few great plays and sign somebody long term.

They are built to dominate the regular season, and aren't even good at doing that yet. They will consistently be the worst defensive team that makes the playoffs until they do something about it.
