I've been dreading the Ottawa games for a while now, even way before this game.

Remember after scoring the first goal it looked like they were gonna stomp some king butt. I hate that.

I've seen that too often. We start like we're playing in cement, then we get some momentum, and once we get the lead we just hang back instead of going for the kill.

At the same time, it's not surprising we don't have the killer instinct when everyone refuses to shoot and chooses to pass instead of taking the higher percentage shot a la Nash.

Game won't be any easier. They will be facing another team, in a must win situation, that is the best team in the league right now. Senators are... 14-0-1 with Hammond in net. That's a team we are going to smash? That will be another extremely, extremely difficult game to play and win.

This game is shades of the SCF. Except this time around Lundqvist isn't standing on his head, and I'm not even knocking Talbot because his team hasn't given him much help.
