Trouba and Skjei have so many f***ing terrible habits in the defensive zone and Trouba has a few more on and just outside of the offensive blueline but none of it is improving. The execution on a personal level is atrocious. They're trying and they're not supposed to be good enough to be top pairing material but it's just been one ride downhill for them. Zero improvement as individuals and as a pairing. Lindy Ruff needs to be fired. It's managerial incompetence. Gorton needs to be fired if Ruff is still around next season. I literally don't even care if he single handedly quells the super volcano threatening to destroy North American.

the idea of playoffs goes out the window tonight and I’m talking about for the fans. Worse it’s for the players. They’ll know it’s over. You come back and it’s like 3 weeks till the deadline. The trades will start.

Then it’ll just be about watching the kids. and watching how far we can fall in the standings. 2 months to free fall

Not so sure it will be a free fall even if we deal Kreider as there is still enough talent here to win hockey games.

I agree playoffs is done but it was always a pipe dream anyways, All I was hoping for was for the team to play well enough for the next month or so that the kids can experience what important games in March feel like.

I'm not convinced that the team is as dead as you think as I still think they got plenty of life left in them....we'll see what happens.
