There’s a reason no one trusted Strome to play center in a top 6 role before and you’re seeing it. It certainly wasn’t because he wasn’t offensively gifted. He’s a perfect player for a bad team. But if you want to win hockey games u can’t have a guy like this in the middle of the ice because he can put up points with your best players. This has been bubbling for months. And sure enough when things are getting real he’s coming up completely small.

He single handed Cost us that game Sunday. And not 10 mins into the next one in a game we are dominating his carelessness turns this one around completely. And what’s worse? There’s zero accountability from Quinn. He ran him right back out there he’s puck watching in the slot when the penalty is taken he’s not back checking on the goal against.

Keeping him long term would be an awful decision and the other one is Buchnevich two guys that winning teams don’t have in their top sixes.

and look at this they get to start the period.

He has had issues during the last 2 games and I don't know wtf he was doing during last minute against Columbus but he has been pretty damn good for this team for a year and a half now. There are quite a few players I would like to be gone from this team rather than Strome.
