Felt that way at around 12 noon today before news of no Bread came out. Just didn't think the Islanders were going to let us ruin their season and beat them 3 in a row in a little over a week and they would figure out a way to beat us.

They may be boring but they are still an above average hockey team. Oh well...still lots of time left to make this a game...not even mad!

It’s so frustrating watching him because he’s super lazy like he’s some superstar who doesn’t need to do anything outside of the offensive zone, meanwhile his line mate is an actual superstar who busts his ass all over the ice. Unreal.

They are done as far as playoffs are concerned. They will continue to play hard most nights with the occasional clunker from time to time.

There’s a reason no one trusted Strome to play center in a top 6 role before and you’re seeing it. It certainly wasn’t because he wasn’t offensively gifted. He’s a perfect player for a bad team. But if you want to win hockey games u can’t have a guy like this in the middle of the ice because he can put up points with your best players. This has been bubbling for months. And sure enough when things are getting real he’s coming up completely small.

He single handed Cost us that game Sunday. And not 10 mins into the next one in a game we are dominating his carelessness turns this one around completely. And what’s worse? There’s zero accountability from Quinn. He ran him right back out there he’s puck watching in the slot when the penalty is taken he’s not back checking on the goal against.

Keeping him long term would be an awful decision and the other one is Buchnevich two guys that winning teams don’t have in their top sixes.
