Yeah, that was piss poor. It's a common theme against the Islanders since basically post-lockout. The Isles get up and go for the game like it's game 7. The Rangers seem to treat it like another game. I can rarely remember a game where the Rangers dominated the Islanders. I feel like we're always outplayed by them. Sometimes we'll get the win, but most times we get outplayed.
It's embarrassing to go up 3-1 on a rival team, and not close it out and be taken advantage of in the process.
Hopefully it gives them fuel to bring to the outdoor game, and the game two weeks from now. Need these points.
