At the time that Darren Langdon retired, Newfoundland had a couple of the strongest men's teams in the country, and if I remember right he stepped onto one of them and was a P/GP top line forward.

He played with Harold Druken on that team too; another former NHLer who I think was their best forward putting up like 2.00P/GP.

In the context of other NHL players, guys like Langdon and Orr look terrible. But it's not like they don't have an incredible amount of things to teach people that haven't played professionally.

Well thats what happens when you can nab players off of other teams rosters and the panthers exist.
