Does anybody remember the pre-season rookie games at Ice World in Totowa, NJ in the early 80s? It was a blood bath, NYR, Flyers, Isles, Devs…..can’t imagine the tickets being more than $7.50.

Flyers are in a weird spot. Their hockey team is a mess and they don't have a lot of valuable prospects. I can't think of anyone really. They should tear it all down and prepare for a long rebuild.

I’ve been impressed with the two big men, Rempe and Edstrom, noticeable on every shift it seems in some way, Edstrom has a great stick, beat out an icing call with his hustle, Rempe seems to get under guys skin a bit, like his work ethic

Trivigno and Sykora, two smaller players who never quit on a play and just keep digging away

Cuylle had a nice hit almost putting the Flyer player into the bench

Hard clean hits leading to a fight. Why is this becoming a thing in hockey? I thought last season it was almost becoming a trend in the NHL. Not a good direction at all.

Just remove fighting from the game or always apply an instigation major, a game misconduct and a suspension. Maybe then players will think twice before playing pretend Domi / Laus / Belak.
