It sounds like Garand is having a great 1st period.

It seems he has been the best player for the pack. Robertson and Jones could be a thing maybe down the road.

I feel like the Broadcaster is doing a good job. Some good emotion to the play call. He has had some decent background on some of the rangers roster.

he has been good but reminds me of Joe when he goes off topic. But at least he knows his stuff. Seems like a good broadcasting team. Not familiar with them.

Skinner is an underrated prospect. I think he can be a solid 5th 6 down the road.

Jayden Grubbe and Adam Yenning fight


I hope Grubbe gets signed. he just needs to be healthy.

Sounds like Grubbe had a strong period. He had a bad knee injury two years ago and didn't have a great year last year but sometimes it takes a while to recover mentally from a tough injury. Hopefully he has a big year in the WHL.

Pretty even first period, lots of physical play

Rempe, Edstrom, Grubbe, Othmann, Barbashev and Robertson all with big hits

Grubbe also had a fight and held his own, noticeable on the forecheck and his skating looks good

Garand is very sound positionally not a lot of wasted movement, looks confident in net

Jones looked ok, skating well but had a few miscues and forced plays

Hard clean hits leading to a fight. Why is this becoming a thing in hockey? I thought last season it was almost becoming a trend in the NHL. Not a good direction at all.

Good hustle by Edstrom negated an icing, he skates really well for a such a big guy and gets in on the forecheck, uses his body well
