It’s interesting to me how he switched from one-timer slappers to wristers. Seems to work, though, as long as we have Kreider to screen.

Yeah, he doesn't tee the puck up nearly as much as you'd expect from a guy with the slapper he has. The choreography that him and Kreider have worked out puts a much larger emphasis on accuracy though.

And he gets some serious heat on his wrister too, so no complaints here.

Love seeing that from Pionk. I do wish that he had tried a little harder to avoid the extra minutes, but that attitude is infectious. We're not going to be pushed around.
