I'd move Howden to wing. It helped him last year. Blackwell can play Center.

Not quick enough or suitable for the wing, in my opinion. What does he offer? he's always on the ground falling

I would have played Laf at C and moved Strome to RW — since they’ve both played those positions. I don’t know how comfortable they’d be in them, though, as they haven’t played them in a while (outside the PP).

I think the way David Quinn has prized him and supported him based on whatever it was that Quinn loved so much is actually hurting him. I'm not willing to give up on Howden and whatever it is that he may be able to do at an NHL level just based on that.

Goddammit. This season is just a complete kick in the dick. Build up and disappointment over the last few months is a microcosm of basically my entire fandom over the last 25 years.

This isn’t for lack of chances, he just isn’t very good. He hasn’t developed or improved at all since he was dealt here. That’s mostly on him, and he will likely end up with his brother in the KHL eventually

If Panarin shoots like he did last game, he's a 40-50 goal scorer

he's been much quicker this year. He improved his skating a lot imo

He still has terrible balance and is almost always out of position.

So hes really going nowhere, but making pretty good time getting there provided that he doesn't fall. Nice assist the other night though, wish we saw more of that out of him.
