He’s also the guy we overlook because he’s more or less a constant. I think I said almost exactly that before the season started.

I don't overlook him. That's why I'm not on board with the trade Zooks train. He leads by example, is a model of consistency season to season, plays bigger than his boots, and is true blue Rangers team guy. Great vet to keep around and a guy that obviously wants to be kept around. Hopefully, that's why he's still here.

Not me. I honestly like boring defenders that play defense. I absolutely hated MDZ and garbage defense and his attrocious +/-. He was the reason why they missed the playoffs that year.

He and "boring and safe" Girardi had the same goals against rate over that period.
