Yes, I believe he is better in a wing position - not great defense.

Teams generally have 14-20 shorthanded and empty net goals against in a season. Guys like MDZ, DeAngelo, and Shattenkirk are on the ice for all of those.

The "defensive" players get none of them.

Not good but would take that over torn ligaments. Of course depends on the break but i can't imagine getting up off the ice with a bad ankle/leg break
