Yea, but saying should have is easier said than done in that situation. How many here played defense and had to go back for a puck under pressure like that.

Nash and Klein were there. Hiw did the puck get through two guys to Nino?

The play certainly doesnt require comments regarding the mentally challenged.

I agree on most points but I'd rather our D-Men making the unsexy safe play than risk a goal with something superfluous. Moving it along the boards is less likely to result in a negative output; Moore should have just moved it along the boards. There are times when it's okay to get fancy with the puck but in your own zone isn't it.

Either way, the play was bad team defense all around. I think anyone being reasonable would agree.

It's not easier said than done at all. It's second nature to everyone who has played defense. Moore simply panicked and made a terrible play. Period. It was an absolutely (MOD: horrible) pass.

Not true.

When i play, I always yell to my dmen to drop that pass if I was in the same spot. Moore had pressure and nasher didnt. At worst I clear it to the corner or wrap it around. Moore was the one feeling the pressure.

Nothing unusual about that play at all. He didn't throw it blindly to the front of the net.

Nash mishandled a routine soft dish off. That's where it went south.

For all we know he let Moore know he was there.

You would've seen him be prepared for a pass if he let Moore know he was there.

I wouldn't ever give the puck to a forward who wasn't fully uncovered in a situation like that. Nash was not wide open at all. There were guys around the area. You simply don't do that. At all.
