Are you kidding? That was highway robbery.
not at all, Sakic made a very good trade, Drury could have likely gotten more.

When is that? When we didn't qualify him in a few days and we lose him for nothing?not at all, Sakic made a very good trade, Drury could have likely gotten more.
Or Callahan he was a former 4th round pick, i will take it and runKnowing us we will prob draft the next Shesterkin with one of these picks.

odd that the Rangers got more for Georgiev than Talbot from 5-6 year ago. Talbot showed he could start for almost an entire season

For a guy who was not getting qualified and had an .898 save %? No fing way.not at all, Sakic made a very good trade, Drury could have likely gotten more.
I mean, its not like he didn't want to be here cause he hated New York , the franchise, or the other players. He was a good teammate (except for ADA) according to all reports and not a cancer. He just wanted a starting job or at least a shot at a starting job, which he will not get in NYC.
He also didn't attend breakup day.He barely even congratulated any of his teammates after a win. Is it their fault he lost the starting job? How was this guy a good teammate?

Why qualify him when they wanted to trade him and he also requested a trade before? For a guy who was not getting qualified and had an .898 save %? No fing way.
They wouldn't qualify him, that's the point. Georgiev was a guy that all the other teams knew was going to be a free agent in less than a week--what more would you have reasonably expected as a return for him?Why qualify him when they wanted to trade him and he also requested a trade before?
It would be insane if next year the stanley cup finals ends up being the Avs VS the Rangers and it's literally Georgiev VS Shesterkin. That's like a WWE storyline in the making.
He wouldn't be a free agent because he was getting traded, it was very obvious. Plenty of teams were interested in him. They wouldn't qualify him, that's the point. Right. They didn't want him and he requested a trade. Even more reason to think that the return was outstanding. Why qualify him when they wanted to trade him and he also requested a trade before?
I'm not understanding your logic, but, okay.He wouldn't be a free agent because he was getting traded, it was very obvious. Plenty of teams were interested in him.
my point is that your point about qualified or not is irrelevant as he was going to get traded. question was where and for what.I'm not understanding your logic, but, okay.
