Another thing I like about Tung is that he's pretty young for a college UDFA at 21 (22 in November). If there's one thing we're undeniably good at, it's developing goalies, so having him in our system at a young age can only be a positive.

Just from the above videos you can see Tung is controlled in how he moves around the crease and he's really quick going side to side. Reminds a bit of both Shesterkin and Quick and he has a larger frame.

I was thinking that as well. The Rangers seem to like the goalies who are athletic and can move quickly side to side.

Nothing really to dislike. Good signing.

Nice signing, don't waste a a draft pick (no matter how low) on a goalie when you can get them for just $, and the likelihood of them panning out is pretty much the same- always about 5-10% NHLer, <5% starter. If you want the link for those numbers you can't have it.
