Bad for both teams.

No, it was pretty one sided! At least in the first. It was so bad I stopped watching. Between Dom Moore getting cross checked in the mouth on an offensive zone face off and Dan Girardi getting high sticked in the face right in front of the ref. Thats not counting the endless picks and interference.

Not saying conspiracy or anything but just wondering since i did not watch this game as i was at work, how was the ref in this game? According to twitter it was really bad?

Refs were ok. They missed moore getting smacked in the mouth off a faceoff, called him for a penalty that was soft very kate in the game and there was also a potential GI that they let go. Im sure there was a bunch of stuff they overlooked the other way as well.

It was no worse than other games. Rangers were garbage. Deserve to miss the playoffs.

So, let me get this straight. It is your opinion that because the Rangers suck, that justifies ******** calls and missed calls?

No, but the level of terrible reffing was no different than other games. There are always missed calls and poor decisions. They had no bearing on the outcome of this particular game because 90% of the Rangers were terrible and didn't compete. Just looking for an excuse.

I don't know who is blaming the refs?! I'm just calling them out for a piss poor job! As per usual.

When you choose to discuss that instead of the rangers terrible play, it seems like you are making excuses. In this particular case the bad reffing had no bearing on the outcome of the game, so it seems kind of pointless to discuss.

Typical poor effort from the defense and the 2-3 minute blitzkrieg of goals from the opposition.

Typical dismal game from most of the forwards, namely Hayes, Nash, and Kreider

No one has bragging rights here, but the above 3 were more visible than Zuc, Brass and esp. Stepan THEY WERE TOTAL PUTRID

I can't exactly pinpoint who I think didn't try their hardest, but when I think of it collectively, no one seemed to try their hardest (aside from Hank).

I will say this: Nash and E Staal don't produce anything on the scoresheet. It is tough to win games consistently when so much money is tied up in wingers that don't score. Girardi, M Staal, and Yandle played no defense tonight and left Hank out to try.

I felt like outside of Miller, the third line was an abomination. The 2nd and 4th lines were good, but Nash killed Brass and Zucc.

Sad.

Well on the bright side we didn't give up 60 shots.

AV and the coaching staff have to go. Too many things going wrong with a group of pro caliber players. We can point fingers at individual players all day but when a team is giving up 20 shots a period(after 2) you would think some coaching changes would have been made a long time before it got that bad.

They failed as a five man unit, plain and simple. If the d-men aren't going to be able to move the puck under pressure, then the forwards need to help out countering the forecheck.

Are the Rangers going to win the Stanley Cup again in our lifetimes? Y/N

Lately I have been thinking it doesn't look so good.

Lol. The average age on here would be what, about 25?
Trying to predict sport out to about 60 years in the future seems a bit futile.

If you are already close to 80 I dont like you chances though...

All this anger but nothing changes. Really starting to question if anyone will step up and attempt to re shape the attitude away from country club high tea time weenies
