Lundqvist had a really good game. The rest of the team absolutely did not.

FWIW, Boyles goal was kinda nice. Good pass by Brassard too. Bad play by the Sharks D on that one.

-60 shot attempt differential in California. How is that even possible. I'll take 3/6 points here I guess, but Jesus.

can i get a gif of the goal where they scored off the rebound, and he just looks at Girardi and makes a "wtf" kind of motion? anyone? that sums up the entire season perfectly.

Questions for the "blow it up" fans.

1. By blowing it up, are you prepared to completely blow it up, including getting rid of Lundqvist?

2. Are you okay with looking like the Edmonton Oilers for seven years (oh, yeah, some would like that because they see a Yakupov with all of his 18 goals and a -23)?

3. If you are a season ticket holder, would you be okay with dropping what you are dropping on tickets during a "rebuild"?

Can't believe the Ulf quote I heard from Giannone. This team is a farce, plain and simple.

They're supposed to be a contender and here we are at game 72 hoping they get hot and reverting back to 'anything can happen'.

What was the quote?

Awful possesion team, awful penalty kill, awful defense.. Something major needs to happen.

Essentially, I'm just closing my eyes and hoping that if this team gets to the playoffs, it'll click for them. Our experience in the second season will come through, and they'll put it together.

Hoping.

I'm not sure im a 'blow it up' guy, but im getting close.
1. Of course, no point keeping him if you are blowing it up and some assets should be coming back.
2. No, but you shouldn't see no results for 7 years like the oilers have. 3-4 years of suck before true improvement should be achievable.
3. Not applicable

Unfortunately this is all I'm banking on too. They look mediocre in wins and terrible in losses.

Lundqvist .940 save % or bust.
