If you want to sell on Vivid try signing up for skybox (which is their pos system) and tell them you're a season ticket holder. If they think you're only selling a few games they'll probably say no but I don't think the threshold is that high.
I got my knicks renewal email earlier this week. Rangers can't be too far behind. If Knicks make the 1st round of the playoffs (not just play-in round) there will be a price increase (mine is 3%) so presume the same for the rangers.
Good to know. Are your Rangers seats markedly different from your Knicks seats? What's the price difference there?
Glad to hear it was only 3%. That's really not terrible given the season both are having.
I understand the conversation on the secondary market, but also feel people are overlooking how much of a benefit it is to the Rangers to have STH. We pay full price for pre-season games + those seats never go unsold. While the Rangers can surely jack up prices on the secondary, they still release them early on and a lot of times they're sold via TM not much about what we would pay. As others have mentioned here, if you wait until late to sell them, you often lose money or they'll go unsold. Rangers undoubtedly eat unsold seats. Now that's certainly not the case for some areas, but you can usually figure this out either by pricing or availability (e.g. last year some lower bowl corners / ends were actually cheaper than mid upper bowl).
Also, do the Rangers still have to pay fees to Ticketmaster if they sell STH. I'm under the impression they don't because as a STH I can avoid feeds & taxes on any additional tickets.
Hey guys, do any of you know what the view for West Balcony 18 row 2 looks like or how it is?
I bought tickets this year in the West Balcony barstools. I was incredibly skeptical to start and the first few games did take getting used to, but I have to say I absolutely love them now. I sat in the 200's for a game and it was f***ing brutal with so many people getting up and down all game both in my row and in front of me blocking the play. That never bothers me in the barstools and I can stand all game if I want (we also have 2 private barstools that are disconnected from everyone, so kinda exclusive).
There's food, bathrooms, etc all right near you. At commercial breaks I'll often grab food or go to the bathroom and be back in my seats by the time the puck drops. Of course, there are some downsides as it's a birds eye view and you might not feel as in the crowd as when you're down lower, but for me it's grown on me as I prefer being able to see everything uninterrupted.
