Rangers tickets have pictures of fans, not players. Surprising with some of the new faces here. I take that to mean they anticipate shipping a lot of the opening day roster out of town during the season.

They sometimes do. They'll either give you the buyer's name and email address or they'll give you the name and a dummy email such as [email protected] to transfer to. Obviously I prefer when the former happens so the team doesn't see I'm selling on StubHub.

Create a dummy TM account or two. Use it/them as an intermediary. It's an extra step, but it solves your problem.

Does anybody know what's going on with the Opening Night patches? I see that you get one if you sign up for a plan by 9/13, but it doesn't say anything about preexisting.

I doubt they are giving anything away to existing plan holders. They usually have some sort of giveaway at the opener, though.

If you are going to go that route, you may as well use a VPN and a different computer because your IP address will show where you are and is logged.

Not to mention this is all through their system anyway so they can see how the tickets got from point A to point C. So unless you plan on creating a new dummy account for every transfer you make, it wouldn't be that difficult for them to see what you're doing.

I bought a few and got a direct transfer through email, then ticketmaster account. So, pretty sure ticketmaster, MSG is now getting a piece of the stub hub sales.

Was just solicited by email / ticket-bastard for single-game tickets...

I am flabbergasted at the inventory available for single game sales... And I checked multiple games...
The seats I wanted to move into two off-seasons ago are now being sold a-la-carte....

Has there been any word on MSG possibly prohibiting bags? Prudential Center just updated their bag policy to prohibit any type of backpack including drawstring bags and cited an NHL mandate across the league.

Nothing yet on the MSG website but who knows if anything changes by next week. I think it would be problematic if they have different bag policies for different events (rangers, knicks, concerts etc) so if the NHL does require them to prohibit bags it may turn into a blanket policy for all MSG events. The Jets prohibit bags (aside from small clear bags) but have a facility allowing people to check bags for free. The Mets prohibit bags and of course you have to pay $10 to check a bag. I'm not sure what MSG's solution would be.

And the Mets changed their bag policy after the season had already started... Who knows? Only the Shadow knows....

More teams and leagues are turning to banning various bags, I just found it interesting how the Devils cited that it was an NHL mandate as the reason why they’re doing what they’re doing.

The bag thing at MSG would be a massive problem considering it’s an after work crowd in the middle of the city where very little people drive to games.

I work nearby but I have no desire to leave my bag my office and run back to get it after a game.

Well, a wise man once asked me why I was lugging my bag to games. I replied, "Well, it has my stuff in it."

He then asked me, "What stuff is in that bag that you will need between this game and the time you get back into the office tomorrow?"

I replied, 'Nothing."
And he said, "Exactly. So why are you carrying it around?"

Ever since, I leave my bag in the office. One the rare occasion that I attend a Friday night game, I'll figure it out. Otherwise, the bag stays in my office until the next morning.

My answer would be different.

I have ditched the bag semi permanently. There is nothing I really need and if I do I pdf it and print it out from home. Carrying a bag started giving me back pain. When I do need to carry something, small packable backpack.
