Should get better, supply is dwindling. Eventually the point comes where it's "oh crap hockey is about to end until next winter gotta get a game in" and there are only so many games left
May pick up for diehards if they bring any of the Russian kids over for big club (maybe Hartford). Igor looks like he's been replaced by Magnus in the KHL playoffs (after getting a game misconduct) and I doubt he sees the net again. Kravstov and Rykov done.

I write this with sadness but I am done as a STH. After 11 seasons I made the decision to not renew. I had a long talk with my rep. this week telling her I wanted to renew but wished to have a chance on seeing what is available next season. I have 6 seats on the aisle and go to many games but they are in row 12 so I wished to have a chance to move a few rows lower. I was told absolutely not and that I would have to renew first then have a chance of moving down. I told her that in the past few seasons there was not much available and she told me that renewals are on par with recent seasons which I know is not true. I was also told that I would lose my grandfather rights to 6 seats and only be allowed to have 4 in the future. What a joke as the 6 seats next to me as well as 6 seats one row in front of me are held under accounts in which the STH has not gone to one game the past 2 seasons but has elected to sell every game. I go to about 15-20 games per year.
Good luck to those regulars but I am out.

you made the right decision, i cancelled 2 years ago after being a STH since 1998, I have not regretted it one bit. it will be a bloodbath next year for sellers.

What section are you in?

You made the right decision. If there were any desirable seat locations available they wouldn’t sell them as full seasons, they would only sell them as partial plans. I just gave up my tickets after 38 years. I know it was the right decision. I can buy any game I want next season for less than face value.

I’m sure you won’t regret it and if you want a game, someone here will help out out if the secondary sites suck.

Personally, I’m looking for 5+ game partners.

i actually disagree - the more seats that get given up, and the less STH seats that are posted on the market, the better the people who might remain could do. demand will always be decent and if theres less inventory on the secondary market, it could be better for sellers.

You need to factor in the all for one pass. Two years ago you could only get singles. This season you could get up to 6 seats per game. I don’t think there were any games that you couldn’t get the all for one seats this season. Next season the inventory for all for one will be that much greater. Also the pricing for Ticketmaster inventory is dynamic so if there is a larger inventory those prices will go down as well

not everyone knows about that, tourists certainly dont.

I, on the other hand, chose to renew. After 26 years, it was a decision that was made with a great deal of angst and uncertainty. This is the first year I’ve ever (ever!) taken a haircut on tickets but it’s a small haircut and in the big scheme of things, I know that once the team starts improving, these tickets will never be available again.

I will be looking for partners who want to take pieces so drop me a note if you are interested.

I think the vast majority of people don't unless you're doing serious research. They used to promote the all for one pass but since it switched to more than 1 ticket a game, it's not promoted within game broadcasts. They have a section on their site but that's it. And a lot of people simply don't want to wait until <24 hours to puck drop to buy tickets even if it does mean a good deal.

This year it’s not always a good deal. I liked all for one when it was 40/75 (or close). This year I’ve seen some pretty pricey selections.

I have decided not to renew as well.

My rep has been harassing me non stop with e-mails, calls, and texts. I've ignored everything. Done being on the price break row since the renovations and them not doing enough to move me back a few rows so i get to pay 30 less a ticket like the guy one row above me pays.

STH since 2000, no more.

Re-upped for next season. From what I was told, relocation emails will go out in May.

I wonder if they were kind of told not to give too much to people with a lot of tickets. I don't think they have much of an issue getting people in on the smaller plans. I'm curious how they did with the pick 4 plans they keep advertising.

the all for one has become a scam...tix for saturdays game vs the devils was going for $125 each...that is not such a great deal, it used to be good at $40 to $70 but now its priced just like the secondary market.

It varies considerably, sometimes it's a good deal, sometimes not. What can be a better deal though is buying an upgrade. If you can get a really cheap get in ticket, bookmark the app link and when you're inside the building you can buy an upgrade for like $25 and get really good seats in the lower bowl

I never looked into the upgrade thing because I figured it was a rip off but I’ll check it out next game.

With last minute pass, it seems like they jacked up the pricing at about the all star break. The deals in the first half were really cheap for the seats you’d get. I think they realized how much of a better deal it was than the secondary market and knocked up prices a bit to fall more in line.

I reupped but just got a survey. Why do I think this is like a federal agent who just wants to ask me a few questions?

Someone mentioned that they saw stubhub increase the sell fee for certain games. The Mets sent me an email saying stubhub is introducing a variable sell fee on April 1 (can increase to 15%) but is guaranteeing a 10% fee for tickets sold as automatic download/transfer. You have to complete a short survey which basically asks what kind of plan you have and what you do with your tickets (I have half for Mets and full for Yanks). It looks like the guarantee works for any MLB plan. I've sold jet tickets via automatic transfer on stubhub so hope that's included as well.

FYI, I got an email today from the Mets regarding StubHub fees. As of April 1st, they say they're introducing variable sell fees "in which you may see your fees increase by 5%." I got an offer for my Mets account to keep it flat for 10% for this season but it looks like this is a sitewide thing and has been aligning with the fee discrepancies that have been seen the past few months.

A good friend of mine just gave up his seats after 50+ years.

I gave up mine last year after 28 yrs.

When I started I was paying $17 per tix for the chance at the cup and everyone loved the seats for the price..

Now my seats are $138. Perhaps the view is a bit better without the walking ring but still...... is the demand as strong at that price?

IN 1992 MSG wanted as many fulls seasons as they could get. I always believe the tix were a bit on the inexpensive side. I thought MSG was leaving a bit of money on the table just to sell seats.

IMO: Maximizing tix prices seems to be today's goal so I was willing to give the next generation the shot at some great seats.
