I have a half and haven't heard squat. Is my rep brutal?

I emailed my rep. They said general tickets go on sale April 10. There will be a pre-sale. I will have access to my tickets (half plan) on April 9.

When I asked if I was able to upgrade from half to full strips, she dodged the question. I asked again and haven't heard yet.

Sounds like same rep, same dodge. I asked was told "soon." Didn't hear asked again and heard "April 9."

Got the exact same response from my rep on half strip to full strip upgrade. Didn't even answer the question just said I can "purchase more in the presale"... Great.

Yup... The pre-sale is just ticketmaster, so expect to pay more and pay fees on top of that.

Anyone here have any recommendation for nice hotels close to the Belle Center in Montreal? Thinkin about going for the 2nd game in Montreal.

I've stayed at the Marriott and Sheraton. They were both very nice and close. Bell Centre is great to watch a game. Also, The dejadins Club Seats include free food and drinks (not fancy food).

(And back in the days I've bumped into several rangers - Fleury and Leetch at Wandas late night after game)

Thanks for the info. I went to a Saturday night regular season game about 4 years ago. Rangers lost about 6-0, wasn't fun but was my 1st game in Canada.
I think we stayed at the Sheraton last time. Was looking at tickets on Stubhub in lower level corners at end Rangers shoot twice. Would want higher rows for a better view. What's the name of the Steak restaurant near the Bell Centre?

There's a Fairmont walking distance. It may sound expensive, but if I stayed there, trust me it wasn't.

So no purchase of a full playoff strip for half seasons? What a rip. I'd rather just stub hub it because I avoid ticketmaster like zika.

You know what the prices are. Make your own decision. If there is a game on Easter it will be cheap.

I forgot the name but I know the one you are thinking of. It's a couple of blocks away and you can see racks of aged steaks through the window (like Gallagher's in NY)

Just checked on Fairmont and it's closed for renovations until July 31st, 2017.

FWIW, I stayed at the Marriott on Super Bowl Sunday when the NYG won in 2008 (Rangers had a sunday afternoon game), and Chris Higgins had many of his family members stay there. I thought it was pretty nice. I also stayed at the Fairmont (it's called the QE) and didn't like it. I thought it was old.

Do you know of the Desjardins seats include free alcohol or only soft drinks?
Saw a pair in section 210 Row A that I'm tempted to grab.

I just bought a pair for game 7 on the canadiens website for $387 USD (Club Desjardins B). I think it's cheaper than SH.

Had my time to buy seats through my mini-plan offer this morning. Took 2 in row 5 of 221 for $184 a pop for round 1. Not terribly inflated from the STH price.

Second round was ~$60 more for those seats so I passed.

Went to log in 20 mins after I paid and everything was already sold out.

That's a fair price. If I'm not mistaken the price for 1st round on my seasons in Row 2 (gallery) in 221 is $164.

My rep actually called me today.

I have a half and was told only a presale using a code (as above) starting Monday at 10:00. Which doesn't work for me.

Pass.

Not bad. I have comparable seats in 220 row 4. My STH price is $146.

Half season subscribers: Tickets are now in my account, just a half strip. I had the 22 game plan (21+1) and got home game 1 and 3 for the 1st round and home game 2 for the 2nd round.

I'm assuming it is the other way around for the other plan.

Nice - I see mine too, thanks. I stupidly signed up for the printed tickets and paid the $25 shipping fee, thinking I'd get the nicely printed book/hard tickets, but I got them yesterday and they are on the damn garbage MSG stock paper... I feel like a major idiot.
