who is responsible for the Rangers never streaming these scrimmages?? how can a 1st class organization be so cheap especially they have the 1st pick in Alexis Lafrenière. awful marketing coverage. please provide legit updates.

The fact that they don’t stream the scrimmages is ridiculous. We had an absurdly long off season and everything with lockdowns they should be trying to provide extra content.
We barely got any old games on MSG all off-season and now training camp we can’t even get an online stream of the scrimmage? I don’t care if the setup in the practice rink is bad, something is better than nothing. Other premier franchises have them on TV and the shittier franchises are still steaming them online. The Rangers not caring to do anything other than 2 or 3 - 10 second goal clips on Twitter is stupid.

The Rangers are the richest organization in the NHL. They got that way by providing exactly as much content as they do right now. So, because we still buy the product with this embarrassing lack of coverage, there is not incentive for them to give us more.
JD's old team CLB is on the cutting edge of digital broadcasting. The viewership isn't that high, but they at-least leverage modern technology.
My friends up in NY have been locked up in apartments with their families going stir crazy. It's like being in isolation with your family inside a small box. Sports gives us a chance to get away from that a bit, and away from the politics- have a beer, get on our virtual rooms and hang out and do something normal. It's just a few more days, but it's much needed.

Beat writers have access to a live stream of the practices/scrimmages so that they can report on it. The stream isn't available for anyone else.

if that is the Rangers doing, they really could care less about the fans. heck id pay 5 bucks to watch it even if they ever decided to go that route. how can they not stream this important scrimmage. lack of coverage is pretty sad in my opinion

I don't feel that same entitlement, that team is obligated to indulge fans' wishes to watch the scrimmage.

The Rangers are the least fan friendly team in the NHL and easily among NY sports despite being the most valuable and richest team in hockey. They exist because we pay to watch and go to the games and for merchandise. We are ABSOLUTELY entitled to fan experiences that are simple and there's no reason not to do.
