Kravtsov was good.

Fox and Lindgren, the usual.

Hajek, the usual.

Not that he is any better, surprised Tony Bitteto hasn’t gotten another look, or just call up Tarmo after the deadline.

Lmao at Joe Micheletti talking playoffs as they walk off the ice. They just lost to the f***ing Sabres dude. Margin was already razor thin to begin with.
Losing in OT didn’t actually hurt their chances very much. Boston winning was slightly worse.

Chances were slim to begin with though, so no result tonight really would have meant all that much.

Not much to say, pretty bad performance all around. Thought Kravtsov had a decent debut game, looked like he was being risk-averse at times and just making the safe play but he checked well. Would have been a sick goal too but Ullmark made a hell of a save. KZB sucks, Zibanejad is back to his invisible ways and Kreider has been useless basically all season at 5v5, only Buch has been good of those 3. #1 and #2 were pretty f***ing bad, and I hate to say it but Panarin-Strome looks a lot better with Blackwell than with Kakko. Hajek-Smith needs to be dismantled as well but at this point who cares. Rather see Tarmo-Skinner but that's never gonna happen.

In fairness to Hajek,Smith is his partner and he routinely gives the puck away in their own zone trapping them in for extended shifts..or Smith ices the puck..its usually 1 or the other

Sorry I know a lot of you love Vally and he knows his stuff but how could you not be super critical of this game? Ullmark did not save this game for Buffalo. We got dominated come on.

Now, I don't want to be overly dramatic (well, I say that) but it's troubling seeing Lafreniere somehow get OT time ahead of Kakko. There is just nothing that would support this. Offensively, defensively, experience, conditioning, role on the team.

Quinn doesn't like Kakko. Period. I can handle players needing to earn credits for the cafeteria but this doesn't make sense why it's so difficult for Kaapo.

I think they’re giving Hajek a good run of games to figure it out before the end of the season

Would not be surprised to see them cut bait on him in some form over the summer

I’m surprised Hajek graded out like this tonight. He looked good to me. Smith, on the other hand.

Listen, I like the guy as a 7 but he shouldn’t be a fixture in the lineup.

Yeah fair enough, just like very jarring for me to be fuming that they lost to the worst team in years and have to listen to Joe talk about the playoffs which 95% isn’t going to happen.

I'm not really bothered by this loss, we lived and died with what we put out there. We played the kids in the third and in OT instead of just letting Panarin and Zeb finish the job. Whatever, I guess good experience for them.

Do not do this again for another 10 years. Do not.

I really don't want to but in the last 4 games he's played he gave up a backbreaking third period goal in three of those. Great job against the Caps but I'm allowed to be despondent when a goalie does that. He has been amazing otherwise for what it's worth.

Kakko shot 3rd in the shootout.....so theres that.

Hajek is fine, those charts are BS anyway. What did Mika and Kreider do to earn a higher rating?
The Rangers actually had shots when they were on the ice.

We attempted 2 shots the entire game with Hajek on the ice.

This happens to him every game no matter who he's out there with.

I'll admit, he is noticeable sometimes, but you reach a point where I straight-up don't care. We don't play NHL offense when he's on the ice.
