(Yeah and you forgot Lias.. )

Do you have any feelings or know of any on Gettinger? I'm a big fan of his skillset and wonder why he hasn't gotten consistent chances.
Not surprising about Barron when you consider the Rangers wanted to sign him out of Cornell in the spring and play right away
IMO Gettinger, while I like him, doesn't really do anything notable. For as big as he is, he's not super physical. He's not an agitator. He's not going to score a lot of points. Skating is mediocre. Commitment to defense is good, but the actual result is just okay. Even in front of the net where you think he'd thrive, he doesn't.Do you have any feelings or know of any on Gettinger? I could see Gettinger used as a sweetener in a trade
I dunno. That would be like trying to sell sand as sugar.I could see Gettinger used as a sweetener in a trade
Libor Hajek being loaned to HC Kometa Brno. Seems like there are a lot of players being loaned to European teams today vis-a-vis Elite Prospects.
Huska going to HKM Zvolen.
Yup. Unless I’m missing something, the remaining four are NYR, NJD, TOR, and VAN.Pronman from the Athletic had us at #1 Prospect ranking last year at this time. Well his rankings have been running the last couple weeks and he’s going to have us top 4 at worst again and this is WITHOUT Lafrenyr.
some changes this year. It takes into account all players in the organization 22 or younger And this time it obviously is happening before the draft so he’ll update this right after. If we aren’t at #1 already we will be come Oct 6th
Toronto I wouldn’t think of having a great group.
I was surprised he had LA and Ottawa as low as he did. Ottawa will surely move up after the draft to a top 3 spot. Not sure NJ deserves to be so high. That will be an interesting read. They’ve got 3 first rounders this year too.
Toronto I wouldn’t think of having a great group. Vancouver for sure when you account for the 22 and under ranking.
Has to be carried by Matthews. Sandin and Liljegren are also under 22. Robertson is there as well. After that, it's rough. I don't think they should be as high as they are.
They don't.
That may change in a month but honestly their collection of young talent is nothing special.
Yeah, they'll be buoyed by guys around 22 y/o like Hischier, Boqvist, Bratt, Joey Anderson, Kuokkanen, and McLeod. Once you look at their prospect pool, they easily sink out of the top-10.agreed. Hughes and Ty Smith stick out as obvious ones but who else? I guess Nico Hischier would count under this new format so there’s that.
NJ has some later round guys that are probably helping their ranking with Pronman. Guys like Gritsyuk, Talvitie, and Moynihan are all legit prospects that are taking strides
The full qualifications are anyone 22 or under and anyone 26 or under who hasn't played more than 25 games in a season or 50 games in a career (10/25 for goalies). So under this new 22 and under format if that’s how he has it. We’d have chytil Fox Lindgren Kakko Howden Hajek Eligible among the top prospects Kravtsov Miller Lundkvist (who’s going to shoot up on his list) Robertson Barron Jones Henriksson
Shesterkin would no longer be eligible
he still has mittelstadt high for Buffalo so maybe he still has Andersson in his rankings although he’s never been high on him
