First player I thought of. Boyle played really similar at BC.
I definitely think it's a more apt comparison than Anders Lee. Both big defensively responsible guys who have some offense and aren't great skaters. Their offensive skill sets aren't that similar and I think Barron is more skilled overall than Boyle but I think that's pretty fair.

Lord knows we need a big, physical wing who is a north/south type of player and actually shoots the puck instead of passing up shot after shot until he loses the puck.

All in all not a bad player to have in the organization that was a 6th round pick!

Zac Jones UMASS won both games against Northeastern Friday/Saturday night and had 1 assist. They New Hampshire this afternoon.

Riley Hughes who is on Northeastern, was pointless and a -2 over those two games.

Kjellberg's RPI was 1 and 1 this weekend. He had no points and netted out to even.

Nanne (Minn) played Ciccolini (Mich) this weekend. Gane 1 was a tie game 2 Minn won. Both players were pointless.

Miller and Wisconsin were 1 and 1 against Omaha. He didnt have any points this weekend.

I am almost positive Miller had an assist on Friday night

Henriksson has an assist through 2 period in the U20 4-Nation game, which is his second consecutive game with a point and first two points in U20 competition this year.

I'll say it again:

#makestevenourgritty

Radical as always man. Thank you for always sharing and boosting these kids' confidence(s) (or frightening them ;)) even more!

The best part is... I met Nils Lundkvist earlier. His grandpa escorted me to the player area after the game. And I told him I really would like a photo with Henriksson. So he said to wait near the bus and he will come out.

I was on the phone with my girlfriend and as I'm telling her I have to go, he walks past me and onto the bus. Lundkvist sends him back out to meet me haha. So I got him to sign a puck for a friend and some for a giveaway on Twitter (coming soon), and then got on the bus.

I get into my Uber and as I arrive at the hotel, the players are sitting in the lobby. They were in the same hotel I booked haha. I always book the same hotel when I fly to Helsinki so it was a fun coincidence.

This whole weekend was fun. I was interviewed for a TV show on Finnish television, Gordie Clark and Nick Bobrov came over to say hi. Bobrov said "of course you're here. And of course you have a banner" haha.

All in all, a fun weekend. But Lundkvist saved the day. He gave me a bro hug as he walked away and his grandpa looks at me and says "he didn't even shake my hand"

We're lucky to have you with us brotha Steven! The most righteous of all prospect stories out there for us!

The Bobrov & Nils Grandpa quotes are absolutely priceless man. I've been dying.

Great stuff! Through your stories we all get a personal connection to these Rangers prospects!

I am happy people appreciate it

Gorton is going to have to decide which defenseman prospects to keep and which to trade soon. The Pack are pretty much totally void of young forward talent. Especially since Kravtsov decided to put on his panties and leave.

right now D w HWP is even barer of NYR prospects - really just Day and Keane seem prospects IMHO.
Ebert and Raddysh are placeholders, Crawley is at Maine, Rykov surprisingly (to me) still not playing.
as we know, Loverde, Geertson, Taylor are on AHL deals.

IF HWP were getting more from just some of Fontaine, Newell, Meskanen, Elmer, Ronning and Gropp, your comment wouldn't ring so true.

So no we have made a bunch of compliments, where the heck are the scouting reports? ;)

How did Henriksson look? Did he get to play with Raymond? Aaltonen? Lundkvist?

Aaltonen had a minor shoulder injury and did not play. He flew back and wasn't in Helsinki
Lundkvist was what you can exepct from him. He's easily the best defenseman on that u20 team. Teammates look at him for advice even.
Henriksson is the reason Holtz and Raymond perform this well for the u20s. Henriksson may be the steal of the 2019 draft.
