Definitely a part of the thought process and a manifestation of the tools and reports they had prior.

Heading into the draft Lindbom was seen as anywhere from a late second to likely third rounder. So the Rangers went early on him, but not necessarily light years beyond where others would’ve considered him.

Personally, I wanted Jack Drury there.

I remember being very surprised that we didn't go for Drury there, especially with the family connection.

Aaltonen had an assist, his third point of the year. He played 12 minutes.

Lundkvist had an assist an was +1 in 22:30.

Edström was scoreless and had no shots.

Själin was scoreless and had no shots.

Ollas was the backup for Linköping but didn't play. He has dressed a couple times but hasn't played yet in the SHL.

Ragnarsson played 15-ish minutes yesterday and had no points.

Is Robertson now allowed to go to the AHL ?
Read w the WHL season delayed they were giving exceptions

so naturally, the over-enthusiastic among us are now waiting for
Garand, Cuylle, Rempe to sign AHL deals like Schneider did,
and when OHL states their schedules, Skinner and Vierling too
(reality check:
i don't really think they would all get signed that way
and I don't think Rempe, at his young stage, would get an AHL game,
but some others could,
and the attention and togetherness could make up some for no Prospect Camp...)

He's not a man yet and was always a long play. It's gonna take several seasons until we can make a definitive call on him.
Exactly. He's still 19 for a couple of weeks. If he were struggling at age 19 in the AHL (pretty comparable in terms of overall quality), I don't think anyone would be writing him off. The early returns aren't pretty, but we don't have to sign this guy for two-and-a-half more years, so we have time to wait and see.
