Until lias proves anything beyond being able to produce in the ahl to me its easily nils. The kid broke Erik Karlssons record in a very talented leage and is known to be a 2 way defenseman.

Not sure why he is before nils, I'm not saying Anderson is a bust in any way but I'd rather have a #3 do it all defenseman over a 3rd line center

Voted Lias over Georgiev hoping there’s enough offense in him to make his a top-6 forward. Georgiev impacted by Shesterkin being ahead of him. If he wins then Georgiev then Rykov.

Add Tarmo. Then Barron.

I don’t care how they perform. If they can’t model designer jeans, they’re dead to me.

I mean at some point draft position loses meaning.
Yeah I get it. It's about production. It's also about potential. If you think the potential isn't there anymore, or never was, you don't vote for him. I voted for him based on his past production and what I receive to be his potential. Yeah, it would have been great to see him translate it to the NHL, but remember he's the same age or younger than most of the remaining guys. He has plenty of time left developmentally.

If Lias were drafted in the 2nd round he wouldn't even get a crack at the top 10.

Disagree. I think any prospect would have been pretty widely recognized if they:
- Had the 2nd highest scoring U18 SuperElite Season of all-time
- Played 2nd line center on the SHL champion as a U19 and had the 3rd highest scoring pre-draft SHL season of the last 10 years (behind only Dahlin and Lindholm, a #1 pick and ppg NHL forward)
- Captained the silver medal WJC team while scoring a ppg w a shoulder injury (and threw their medal into the stands)
- Scored at almost the same rate as Chytil in the AHL in their post-draft year
- Was one of only 25 U21 players to play more than half the season in the NHL last year (19 of who were top 10 picks)

I actually think that if a player did that after being drafted in the second round, we would be ecstatic with his performance instead of disappointed by it.

Andersson was pumped too much after being drafted. The draft coverage and then the team saying he was near ready when he probably would have been better off staying Sweden for a whole season and then coming to NA last season. Sure, he probably stays in the AHL, but the constant switching of locations in his D+1 season didn't help. He did well on his second call up last season.

This is exactly where he should be due to the fact that we have other drafted players that have untapped potential and others that have performed better since being draft/acquired. There won't be another list he'll be on since I think he's reached the point of being in the NHL full time next season. If he is back on this list, it's time to get a little worried.

Andersson was also our first 1st round pick in 5 years. Expectations were way too high off the bat for some.
