Crazy. One can argue that the Rangers likely 12th best prospect now (Rykov) is better that the #6 prospect last summer at the time (Bear Gloves).

The jump from 2016 to 2018 is insane, but I guess a little to be expected when you trade away all your high value upcoming free agents, best center, and best Dman. 5 first rounders, plus a bunch of solid prospects from trades later....

It's why these guys not being in the top 10 isn't an insult, it's just a byproduct of depth.
