Going to need to reconsider this one again. Can't leave out Jake Leschyshyn.
LOL. It is the season of his 24th birthday and he hasn't played in 65 games (he's at 63), so he should be eligible.Going to need to reconsider this one again. Can't leave out Jake Leschyshyn.
63 NHL games. He just counts.Going to need to reconsider this one again. Can't leave out Jake Leschyshyn.
Why? I cant wait to hear him declared a bust at 20 like the rest of our young players.I think people expecting Othmann to come in and light the world on fire next year should temper their expectations.
I hope they at least stay consistent and blame the coach, the gm, Dolan, and Zib, Kreider, and PanarinWhy? I cant wait to hear him declared a bust at 20 like the rest of our young players.

Sad for Laffy but not lofty. I just get the sense people here think he's gonna come in and score 20 goals next year. I think he's still very much a work in progress. I wouldn't be surprised if he spends a good chunk of next year in Hartford. My expectation would be that he can do what Lafreniere is doing at a fraction of the cost (compared to Lafreniere’s next contract). Anything more than that is gravy. Is that a lofty expectation?
Well half the naysayers may do that and the other half will just say he sucks, is good at nothing and was a bad pick from the start. Which I guess is blaming the GM. Hahahaha.I hope they at least stay consistent and blame the coach, the gm, Dolan, and Zib, Kreider, and Panarin

Agree. If it’s faster great.I expect that to be the case too. Maybe a call up 2nd half
Wait, IF Othmann gets a cup of tea in a form of a few games in the NHL next season is already a bonus. EXPECTING him in the NHL full time or even majority of time is setting yourself up for disappointment.Agree. If it’s faster great.
Me? I’m not expecting that at all.Wait, IF Othmann gets a cup of tea in a form of a few games in the NHL next season is already a bonus. EXPECTING him in the NHL full time or even majority of time is setting yourself up for disappointment.
Krav in a landslide. He has been solid in the NHL. Not a knock on Othmann but Krav is making me a believer. Keep him stapled to Panarin and he can fill the RW hole. The real competition is going to be Laffy vs. Othmann
Not saying you but this is what I got from the conversation.Me? I’m not expecting that at all.
I will be quite happy if he doesn't sniff NHL ice after Camp.I think people expecting Othmann to come in and light the world on fire next year should temper their expectations.
Me too. Let him cook in the AHL.I will be quite happy if he doesn't sniff NHL ice after Camp.
Let him learn in AHL and be best ready.
