They're still giving up a lot of goals. The D is still pretty porous. Generally, high scoring teams who can't keep the puck out of their own net in the regular season don't bode well in the playoffs when other teams clamp down.They are 12-4-1 since firing Babcock. Just doing small things like not playing Cody Ceci on your top pairing can do wonders for a team.
They just gave up 5 to NYR, gave up 4 to the Devils yesterday, 6 to the Hurricanes on Monday.
You can't depend on trading goals and playing pond hockey in the playoffs. They haven't won a round in like 5 years, I don't see how they've improved on their flaws the last few years.
