Going to be an interesting post from Gallant. But seriously we should have won last night and won tonight. We are a good team.

They more than deserved to lose to the Panthers and not sure how anyone could argue against that since they actually lost and blew having a lead in the third period, and the only they won tonight is because Elliot gave them the game. This is a mediocre team at best and a shootout win against a tired team playing a low tier backup goalie doesn’t change that. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

I was ready to come on and compliment Miller until he made that horrible turnover in the third.
Still overall was good and he makes more moves with the puck than Laf/Kakko/Chytil combined. He actually grabs the puck with authority and gets into the opponents zone.

Curious how much he is overpaid? especially on a team right now that has pretty much very little depth with Blais injury and Kakko/Laf/Gauthier pretty much doing nothing

Someone had to be that guy, that guy who cpuld get mad if he won only a million instead of five if he hit the lotto. Btw panthers had a lower xp goals for then the rangers. We actually should have won that one. If you want to be sour on new years, go for it. You can be miserable after a win. Its your right. Its just funny and sad at the same time.

I think he’s now legit our #3 defenseman. Ahead of Lindgren, full stop. He has become very reliable. I wonder if the next step might not be to play Miller with Fox. Would be a smashing pair. Wouldn’t do it mid-season but maybe next year. Then Trouba-Jones and Lindgren-Lundkvist.
