Panarin sets up the GWG because he skated to create a passing lane. Zibs has been bad. Our centerplay has been bad, especially in our zone and the neutral zone.

Can’t believe this team is 6-2-1. It’s a good sign. Imagine how good we’ll be when Zib and Panarin get going. Especially if Kakko/LaF live up to their draft positions. One can hope.

I usually don't criticize the team after a win and call out people that do but that effort was unacceptable. That said the reason you get guys like Fox and Panarin is so that in games like this they win you games on one skilled play.

I can't put into words how satisfied I am with this team. I have nothing to complain about other than I wish we still had Tony D, we would be even better. But this is just an amazing start, Panarin is heating up each game, Fox is just on fire and consistently great, and Igor is a franchise goaltender with a lot of Vezina votes coming his way if he plays like this all year.

We found a way to win, and by 2 goals, so that is pretty acceptable for me. How many times does this team have to come out in the third period from behind after playing 2 bad period to prove they can just turn it on and win when they feel like it, because thats what has been happening.
