GDT: Rangers @ Kings Pt. III |Game 2| 6/7/14

These last two games were/are completely winnable. That's what's frustrating me. Having so many chances we could have won this game 15 times over by now.

Put Moore between Hagelin and MSL, double shift MSL with Boyle and Dorsett

You can't do that. He is already getting 3rd line minutes. AV system is predicated on rolling 4 lines. You got run with the horses you have.

But, I do agree he needs to be taken off the PP.

Its not just Richards, its Step as well.
 
I'm not one to rag on a player but Richards has been a liability the entire game and getting progressively worse. Is his SC finals exp from >10 years ago really worth it AV?
 
Rangers are playing their guts out. Thought we were the better team in OT. Richards playing like the guy who was a healthy scratch in last years playoffs. It is actually painful watching him on the ice right now.

It's not even the speed it's the puck handling and decision making. Stepan has no speed either but at least he doesn't blindly hand it to the other team and fumble every pass to him.

Yep get him off the PP. It's a turnover every time.

Incredibly frustrating. This isn't like Game 4 against the Pens when the Rangers were steamrollered off the ice. Somehow, this is even worse.
 
On the replay Kreider clearly gets tripped when he is about to shoot otherwise he would have scored
 
Richards looks like an old man in this game. Maybe the old man has one more big moment left as a Ranger. You would think our PP would figure out when the Kings send 2 or 3 guys on the same side, the entire other side of the ice is open. Watching this game as depressing as it is to see them and the refs screw up the lead, I believe they can beat this team now. If only they can win this freakin game and get the series tied 1-1.

Do not compare Stepan to Richards. One has been underwhelming. The other has been embarrassing. He singlehandedly killed off that 2 minute power play in the OT.

I can't agree, why **** up the other two lines for one bad player?

Richards has been garbage but everything else is working. I don't think the solution is as easy as "bench him".
