Agreed I am shocked he played. If he did have the flu (which he may have or some other bug) any normal person would need a week to recover before being able to be close to 100 percent. I think he realized Buch not playing and importance of this game.

Went with Georgiev, Trouba and Panarin. Alex was under siege for the majority of the game and stopped 42 out of 45. That's a pretty good night. Trouba just for that hit. Upstate where I live we had the Islanders feed and Goring was really pissed about that by the way. He wanted Jacob tossed out of the game. I really don't know--it seemed to me that Dal Colle had his head down and was in kind of a crouch--you know what first rule of hockey is keep your head up when you have the puck in open ice. Trouba really clobbered him--Pageau jumps in and basically gets tossed out of the game--that turned into two for the price of one--not that Dal Colle was any big loss though. Panarin for the goal but I really like the pass to Zibanejad in OT and he was a +3 besides.

Not our best game but a good win anyway.

Trouba totally destroyed Dal Colle. The hit was maybe borderline but idk if it’s suspension worthy. He gets him in the chest as the principal point of contact with his shoulder but also seemed to catch his chin a bit.

Very entertaining. Get off the tracks when the train is coming through. Only way that could’ve been better is if Pageau broke his hand trying to fight Trouba.

yeah but it's 3 in a row and they have lost in embarrassing fashion including 7-3 against arizona but fair enough.
 
The best is after the Trouba train came and dal colle got cut down on the tracks, Bailey thought about fighting, and once he realized Lemieux was the guy who threw his gloves off and grabbed him, he had second thoughts.
 
When Zib shot that puck it was as if he was saying, "f*** YOU, ISLANDERS!"

Even in the first period, when the Isles came out flying, our D was outstanding. Collapsing in the middle, they didn't allow a pass across at any time. Everything was on the outside. They weathered that storm like playoff contenders.
