Trouba was a monster. He destroyed Barzal all night. Smith was good

Howden another one don’t care he scored he missed a game ending tap in a shift later then gets walked badly on the 2nd goal. He’s on way over his head at this level. Shouldn’t be playing over McKegg when we’re healthy.

Georgie was great until the end. He gets emotional ala hank. Shesterkin doesn’t. Stays calm

I have wanted a high draft pick all year, but oddly once we resigned Kreider yesterday I’ve changed. I mean at this point we have made our decisions and all night I was rooting hard. Super bummed at :17 but was confident we would get it done.

When Bread made that play I knew it was over... 1 on 3 and makes that pass.

Then, HOWITZER and I almost dislocated my shoulder. Seriously.

I f***ing love this team. There not even good yet. Imagine how good the Rangers are going to be when they are good?

They are going to be absolutaly scary. I said it before the game and during it....Georgie is Islander kryptonite. He's a good goalie most of the time anyways but against the Islanders, he morphs into Dominck Hasek circa 1994.

Just another incredible performance by him as he stole that win for us as Islanders had most of the more dangerous chances.

Game had a playoff feel and I can't wait till the year when both teams play each other in the playoffs...it will be awesome.

I dunno what else to say about this team of ours. They are resilient...they are very talented but also very raw. I never could have imagined we'd be in the playoff race at this point in time yet here we are. Just amazing how well this "rebuild" of ours is going.

Like I said...we are going to be f***ing scary good in a year or two when we are actually good....
