Barzal enters the zone, drops a pass back to Dahlin.

Dahlin skates around Vesey, passed to Svechnikov.

Svechnikov muscles past DeAngelo, moves in close on Lunqvist and scores!!!!

Svechnikov scores, and the Islanders are up 6-4 with 7 minutes left to go!

[Wooooooooo]

A dandy from Svechnikov, with helpers from Barzal and Dahlin, and Alain Vigneault is pulling Lundqvist to change things up.

Let's take a quick TV timeout.

Ironically, this is the least realistic thing is this post.

To quote Scott Pilgrim, ‘THAT IS EVIL’.

Also this has reminded me how much the province of Alberta has completely f***ed the Rangers the last couple years.

Barzal, Eberle, Hall, incoming top 10 pick.

Gorton should flick up to the stampede next year and start some conversations with the idiots that are in control here.

Oh hey! My work is famous! Unfortunately, I'm not in the background of any of these video clips :(

Oh, and we just handed them Talbot for nothing that was cool too.

To continue my "any chance MSG cuts ties with Michelletti' thought...

Valiquette is clearly gold. My sense is Duguay feels pushed by Valiquette's knowledge and professionalism. Duguay is fine, but there's no comparison; not to mention the age difference which I'm sure bruises Duguay's ego further.

Could Valiquette get bumped up for next season?

That would be fantastic but I doubt it

I definitely get this feeling also.

I do think that he has been adapting well, has taken a lot of Vally's analysis as being truth, and utilizes it in his own commentary though. Don't think Vally's going anywhere.

Not sure how well versed in Sportscentre you guys are, but if PJ Stock and Elliotte Friedman managed to co-exist for a couple years, then Dugie and Vally will be blood brothers by this time next year.
